Josh Rawlings is one of most respected performing and accomplished studio pianists in the Pacific Northwest today.

He's a GRAMMY-Nominated, Multi-Platinum Award winning recording artist & composer.

Rolling Stone described his piano playing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Single “Downtown” as a “bombastic, theatrical piano breakdown.” He’s also the featured pianist on their iconic and inspiring single “Same Love.”

Josh has toured throughout the United States and Europe with Macklemore, Soul-R&B sensation Allen Stone and performed locally with his Jazz group’s Industrial Revelation and The Teaching for many years.

Josh opened for legendary Soul singer Al Green and played such esteemed venues as Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Ryan Auditorium in Nashville, the Bonnaroo Music Festival, Beneroya Hall and more.

He graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 2005 where he studied with esteemed Jazz musicians Randy Halberstadt, Jovino Santos Neto, Hadley Caliman & Julian Priester.

Josh currently makes his living as an active Performer, Studio Musician and Teacher living in Seattle.
